Free Training: Getting What You Want From Feldenkrais

Thanks for the great feedback and comments yesterday about the projects that you want to do and the direction you want to head in. I am going to go ahead with the group coaching and training...but guess what? I am going to do it for free. Watch the video to check out the details of how we will proceed. The training is called: "Getting The Most From Your Method: A Free Training On How To Promote Your Practice And Ideas."

    Thanks for making it FREE!
I always love being in on a pioneering expedition, I feel this is what you are doing in the Feldy Coaching Field…

Somewhere out beyond the idea of right and wrong, there is a field.
    I’ll meet you there”.

    Love,

  2. Two questions to help you get what you want with the work of Moshe Feldenkrais

I have a lot of things that I am interested in, project ideas. I think it is hard for me to choose where to start so I will name them all and maybe you can give me some feedback.
    1) I work with babies using the method through Early Intervention as a PT. I see so many babies who can’t move, are “developmentally delayed” because they are put in standing devices before they can roll sit etc. I would love to be able to educate the public. I think of writing some kind of online Webinar, an article and even giving a class for moms to help them learn what they can do to help their babies develop in a way that supports their development rather than limits it.
    2) I would love to develop some kind of class for PT’s that could help them to be able to look at movement organization and how that might be causing issues for their clients. To be a bridge between PT and Feldenkrais not that they need to do a training but to give them another way of thinking that could support them.I have had so many clients that have come to me with demonstrating blatant poor habits of organization, like a women with knee problems that sits with her knees touching and feet wide apart that were never addressed in years of PT.
    3) I am in the process of developing a 3 part back workshop based on the method that I would like to move forward with. I have taught part 1 and got a great response.

For all these things I would like to develop Webinars, CD’s or DVD’s but am not tech savvy (don’t even have a website yet, Did look at your email on building a website but frankly it looked over whelming and the guy talked way too fast).

    2) If you did something that did not work out at first what would keep you going? That is, say that you gave some functional integrations sessions that did not turn out well, or you had a workshop with only one or even no sign-ups. What would keep you going and moving towards the outcome that you want? Be a specific as possible as you need to understand your own motivation. Note: I answer those questions on a regular basis. I often record the answers in audio or video so that I can check back later and see/here myself from a distance and see how the answers still resonate with me. You can record your answers on just about any smart phone (iPhone, Android etc) or computer. If you do not know how to do this, do a google search and find some tutorials. Not required. Just a suggestion.
2)I don’t know the answer to this. I tend to retreat when I do not get the response I want., but I do teach classes twice a week and particularly now since its winter here and terrible cold my classes can be very small. Even though I would like to have larger classes I still teach even if there are just 2 people sometimes because I love that these people are so dedicated to the work. So I guess what keeps me going is being able to offer something of great value to people and their receiving it!
