Is E-junkie’s $5 per month ecommerce solution worth anything?

E-junkie Shopping Cart and Digital Delivery

Can a $5 per month ecommerce system be worth a darn? That's the question that I asked myself 3 months ago when looking at E-junkie's all-in-one service (commonly misspelled as ejunkie). They will host your digital downloads (audio, video, software, ebooks and more) and take care of all the back end work. Someone buys your product and ejunkie sends them a download link, collects the money via paypal and sends you notification of the sale. But does it work?

I was skeptical at first. I was using's $79 per month system, plus a $20 per month merchant account through PayPal. I like 1shoppingcart a great deal, but it was too expensive for me at the time.

After putting E-junkie through the paces, I give it my full-recommendation and support. They give you a 1-week free trial to test it (no credit card needed). And the system is simple and easy to use. You don't need to know html or programming of any kind. You simply type in a few details about your product, enter your PayPal account email and click the "browse" button to upload whatever product that you want to sell.

And after teaching 20 people how to use it at the last Web Whisperer's Internet Marketing Bootcamp, I can say that it is suitable for people of all levels and abilities.

I liked E-junkie so much that I pulled together 25 million dollars of funding and bought the company.

Ok, not really. But I did create a series of downloadable, quicktime movies that explain e-junkie step-by-step. If you already have some digital products to sell, you can download my e-junkie videos and be ready to sell online in 60 minutes or less.

Really. It's that simple. Here's the lowdown:

Bye the way - E-Junkie's cheapest plan is the $5 per month plan, which covers 10 products up to a total of 50 mb. There are no other charges except PayPal's transaction fees - there is no bandwidth cost, no per transaction fee nor any other hidden fee.

  1. I’m a new E-junkie subscriber. I create a weekly comic (soon going daily). I want to offer publishers the ability to download the toons. But there are many variables. If you visit the site, go to Reprints and Toons page. I need to streamline the process since I will be posting a new toon every day. Can you help. How much?
